Important information:
-
Players need to be approximately grade three standard minimum to join the workshop.
-
Players must be 18 and under and in full time education
-
We are welcoming all players of orchestral wind instruments as well as saxophone players. We are hoping for applications from a good balance of instruments but may limit applications from particular instruments if we are over subscribed.
-
There will be opportunities for a couple of players to take part in a friendly mini masterclass for soloists. There is no obligation to do this, but please let us know on the application form if you would like to be considered.
-
The leaders will send out music in advance to all participants so it would be helpful to have all applications by 5 May. If you have missed this deadline please e-mail Anna to check if spaces are still available as we may well be able to fit you in.
-
The afternoon is free to all participants thanks to a generous legacy from Catherine Scott, WYO’s much-loved wind tutor and a grant from the Kendal Midday Concert Club.
-
Please apply for your place using our online form.
